UPDATE: The 2025 Priority Deadline has passed, and we have received dozens of applications. You are still welcome to submit an application; however, please be advised that it is unlikely the review committee will extend an interview for the fellowship at this stage. If your profile is competitive, you will still be considered for a Grant.
Preview Essay Questions
- Please describe any details that can help us understand your family's financial situation or socio-economic background. The more detailed, the better. We will prioritize students from low socioeconomic backgrounds. We suggest no more than 450 words.
- Please elaborate on your passion for (or interest in) the degree/program you have chosen to pursue and how it aligns with your long-term career aspirations. This is your opportunity to showcase your enthusiasm and commitment to your chosen field of study, as well as to demonstrate why you are an ideal candidate for this scholarship/grant and graduate school consulting support. [Max 250 words]
- How do you envision utilizing your graduate degree to contribute to Jamaica (or your home country/community for non-Jamaicans)? Please share your thoughts on how you plan to leverage the knowledge and skills gained from your graduate studies to make a positive impact in your home country/community. While your responses may be related to your career goals, feel free to also discuss your broader vision for advancing social, economic, or environmental development in your country/community.
