Rajiv is a proud graduate of St. George’s College and the University of the West Indies, Mona, where he pursued a BSC in Actuarial Science. He went on to work in the insurance and investment industry—fields that deepened his analytical thinking but ultimately led him to seek a more purpose-driven path.

That path brought him to the classroom. Today, he teaches all levels of mathematics at the esteemed Wolmer’s Girls’ School. He also serve as the coach for both the TVJ School’s Challenge Quiz team and the Math Olympiad, mentoring students in competitive academic arenas. In every role he takes on, he aims to not only prepare students for exams like the GRE, but to help them think critically, solve problems creatively, and believe in their ability to grow.

Outside the classroom, Rajiv is constantly exploring innovative ways to make mathematics engaging and relevant, guided by a passion for meaningful, student-centered education. He believes strongly in the power of knowledge to transform lives and communities.
